2016 Church Emphasis: Outreach
Believers are called to shine in a dark world and to hold up the Word of Life in a way that makes the gospel appear beautiful, simple, and true. Our hope is that each person will speak well of Christ in the marketplace, use social media to recommend the gospel to others, and promote our Kids Clubs, soccer club, Good News club, and other ministries at every opportunity.
Thank you to those who worked so hard to make our Worship Concert possible this past Friday evening – performers, food providers, servers, inviters, child care workers, and set-up and clean-up crews. A lot of volunteers worked very hard to make the concept a reality, and we honestly appreciate the efforts that were made. God bless you.
Thrifty Nook: Please keep bringing your donations! You may drop off items in the large black bin in the gym.
Coffee Break: Any Tuesday during the months of April and May, during daytime hours, Pastor Dave is available for Starbucks (he’s buying) for any person who would like to just pull up a chair and talk – either about serious things or just for fun. If you don’t ask him, he might ask you. (Females, please bring along another person or let Pastor Dave find a time that works for Teresa to come as well).
